Lunch time craft in our school has various benefits for kids which I observe every time we are making something.  I have been preparing projects to engage students in various ways, e.g. nature their creativity, develop fine motor skills, build immense confidence in them, give them sense of achievement, and encourage their self-expression.  The excitement when we are on the way to the Learning room at lunch time, "What we are making today?" are signs of joy and happiness the students feel when they make something and they are going to achieve their goal - another animal or insect made from a paper.  Some students have started to make their own projects from left over bits of paper.  It is the best reward for me seeing the enjoyment on all the kid's faces when they finish their craft and they look so happy and proud.
