The school break is over.  I hope everyone got a little bit of a rest.  I would like to share my reflection after my holiday.  I was on my yearly retreat which, as a nun, I have every year.  During my retreat I meditated on the Gospal of John. 

The main topic was BELOVED. St John always said about himself that he was the "disciple whom Jesus loved". His faith was very strong, his understanding and experience of being loved was unquestionable.  I prayed and asked God for St John's faith in Jesus and the feeling of being loved.

Being loved is fundamental to our human nature.  What exactly does it mean to be loved?

Being loved is being accepted for who you are;

Being loved by that one person he/she should understand your goals to help you meet them, know your dreams and help you to grasp hold, reach out together;

Being loved is being supported in trouble;

Being loved is .....

We are loved unconditionally by God for who we are.
