IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK

One thing is for sure -- coming back to work in the OLV environment could not be more satisfying. Being away for so long (and sorry about that) one might feel a little overwhelmed to fit back in. OLV works smoothly with wonderful children who are a delight and very welcoming. It is great to be back on deck and appreciate the support for the acting executive and good will during my absence.

KINDER 2021

All the energy at OLV is going into making the Kinder Orientation in a COVID atmoshere as welcoming and supportive as possible. Our Year 4 and Year 5 children have been communicating to their future buddies in a variety of ways -- manual and electronic. We will welcome 19 new students next week for their first taste of "Big School".

Whilst this is an excitng time for these new students, we need to keep the parents of these children in the picture as well. It will be a real challenge for them, especially those sending their first child to school. We welcome all our future students and families and encouage everyone to provide assistance and advice when the need arises.

Well done John for standing up and predicting the winner of last night's match. I know there are others who might  have scoffed but a champion team will always beat a team of cocky champions. Good luck to both teams next week.
