KINDER ORIENTATION
We had a great day last week as our wonderful Year 5 Buddies greeted the 2023 Kindergarten cohort. It was great to see how they nurtured and led their Buddy in different activities during the morning.
We will be hosting the 2023 cohort again on two more occasions – 8 November and 22 November. We look forward to seeing them all again soon.
YEAR 6 GRADUATION
TELL THEM FROM ME
Thanks to all the families that participated in the survey. Our late plea certainly prompted a more useful response. The responses are collated by an independent firm and a report will be prepared and forwarded to us in the near future. The ideas expressed will be shared with parents later this year and will help guide us as we prepare our Improvement Plan for the next 3 years.
OUT OF UNIFORM

Year 2
Year 2 have just completed their persuasive writing unit. Below are some of their post unit cold writes. Miss Payton is really proud of all of the writing happening in Year 2!
Stage 2 - Year 3 & 4
Stage 2 have been working hard on developing their use of compound and complex sentences. The students have been focusing on using conjunctions and commas in their sentences as well as adding more details by using adjectives and adverbs. All of Stage 2 have come up with some amazing compound and complex sentences and I have included some for you to enjoy. I have very much enjoyed my time in stage 2 so far. Miss Baker (student teacher).
Stage 3 - Year 5 & 6
This term Stage 3 have been looking at developing their writing skills to enhance their text. We have looked at including metaphors, adjectives, similes and show not tell language. Using these language features in our writing allows the reader to visualise the story in their head. We are learning the more descriptive and interesting words we use in our story the more vivid the picture is in the reader's mind. Have a look and see if you can visualise our story.
